Number plate sizes?

Just a quick one folks im ordering some new plates as mine are looking a bit scabby! should i get smaller ones or just standard size? what would be the sizes for the smaller plates?

I have to agree with Noddie! The gap on the front and back is made for a normal plate so putting anything smaller in is just going to be crap Im afraid.
