Now a 197 owner

Evening everyone, I'm Alex and i'm from Teesside.

Picked up my glacier white 197 this evening! I drove it about 15 miles (with a rather large smile on my face) to be stored for a few weeks as im waiting for my insurance to be up on my previous car as the thieves we call insurance companys wanted a ridiculous amount of money to swap the insurance for the remainder.

Anyway, i'll post some pictures of the car soon and look forward to talking you all!

Shame about the insurance, must be going mad watching it sit on the drive/ in the garage not being able to drive it.
 
I've put it into a relatives barn so i don't have the temptation to drive it haha. I took a quick photo earlier, its the only one i've got at the moment. Here it is anyway;

nice buy alex. theres a few GW197/200's round our way mate, i'll keep my eye out for you, i am in linthorpe quite a bit
 
Welcome to the club

There does seem to be a tendancy in the north east to buy the GWs whereas we seem to only buy DBs in the north west
