Diesel

i had a grande punto 1.9 turbo diesel same as the astra engine but slower and all i can say yh the diesel feel 10 times quicker beacuse of the pull of the turbo even though it was only 130bhp but fact is that when i put my foot down in the clio it seems slow but ur speeding without u knowing i seem to feel there no feel of speed ( maybe the clio hard suspension) but my punto u used to feel like u was getting sucked in to your seats its crazy the differents from the diesel to a petrol i do miss my diesel beacuse its such a lazy car drive i loved how quick it was from 70- 125mph the clio is quick to 110mph and that all it seemed to have in the tank to me it felt like it didnt want to be pushed anymore

But I know what you mean. Been in some quick diseasels in my time and the torque can be infectious, but give me a free revving petrol any day for a B road blast.

aww sorry but its true i miss the crawling factor of diesel and even tho my punto was 0-60 9.5 sec it seemed like poop off a spade lol i have a 197 now and yes its fun but 24mpg i could drive my punto fast and used 2 get 36mpg and even on normaly eco drive i used to get 46mpg where my clio i got 31mpg diesel have the advantages but im glad i brought my 197 it make make porn sounds when it revs at high reving not being funny to all diesel haters but petrol will be replaced by fast diesel with high mpg think we all know it will happen one day im sad when u see a MERCEDES-BENZ S CLASS S350 CDI BLUETEC what does 0-60 in 7.1 but does Fuel consumption (extra urban) 53.3 mpg
Fuel consumption (combined) 41.5 mpg

For now petrol all the way tho
