@Martin Walker cost was just short of £900 delivered. A fair bit cheaper than if you buy them over here. PM me if you need the contact details.

8J and 55ET, they sit absolutely perfectly without spacers and save a noticeable chunk of weight too. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Did you buy them from RSlex (Alex from cliors.de)?

@Martin Walker: The cheapest wheels I know about are Autec Wizards in 7,5x17 ET45 and they cost 126,- € p.p. in our shop. In my opinion they look better than some of the much more expensive rims.

If I'd have to buy some wheels I'd presumably go for something from Sparco (Pro Corsas, Assetto Garas or Tarmacs). They're reasonable priced and get produced by OZ which means top quality.

Just get a set of OZ Ultraleggera in the size specified and you’re all good!

Not a brand to steer clear of, but one to consider. I'm very pleased with my Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 wheels. Available in various offsets, widths & colours. Light & good quality. Had to wait a while for mine, but well worth the wait. Got mine from www.performancealloys.com

on all three those wheels the ET value is too low (17 and 18 inch). unless you decide to stretch the tyre beyond what is reasonable, they'll rub.

mine (fullrace R 7X17) were 194 euros a piece. i believe the fullrace A 8X17 is about the same price here.

yes, raiders come with 18. my clio is a red bull version and comes with the same 8X18 wheel. thing is, they have an ET value of 66. in my search for a second set of wheels, i've never come across an aftermarket wheel with such a high ET. not in 17 nor in 18 inch.

the 17 inch wheel extends 29mm further outwards in comparison to the stock wheel.
the 18 inch wheel extends 36mm further outwards in comparison to the stock wheel.

personally, i wouldn't risk it.

yup, that's the look i was thinking you'd want. that, to me, is already a ridiculous stretch of the tyre ...
maybe get in touch with the owner and ask him if they rub.
