New Matte Daytona Grey Audi RS6 Avant Protection Detail

Hi all, a few weeks ago I was called up by Audi Tetbury to carry out a new car protection detail on a brand new matte Daytona Grey Audi RS6 Avant!

The car had just about every option ticked, with a few listed below, resulting in a list price entering triple figures! :doublesho

£5k matte grey paint
Front and rear cameras
Full LED Headlights
Self-closing doors and tailgate
Carbon fibre everywhere
21" Diamond-cut wheels
Interior carbon fibre and entry lights
Performance exhaust system
Destricted to 189mph and 580bhp
And many more!

The main reason I was called in was for preparing the matte paint, which requires specialist products and care, so I opted for a full Swissvax protection.

The owner picked the car up today and was very happy with this absolute beast of a car!

Thanks for reading! Comments appreciated as always!

Beast of a car. I would honestly sh*t myself cleaning someone's brand new £100K+ matte car. Looks like a job well done, with some top products

£100k for that...more money than sense :rain:

Depends what your after though, not everyone will want to spend 100K on a 2 seater supercar. RS6 is a stunning car and I'd love to have one.

Although if i had 100K to spend on just one car then i'd most likely be heading for a lambo dealership

exactly!

and the options - auto closing doors and forward facing camera...is the driver not capapbel of closing the door and looking through the windscreen!

great detailing session!

Thanks Robo, I was more worried about steering it between the rest of the new Audis!

Definitely an acquire taste but as Stevo says, it depends what he's after!

Definitely, he had two kids with him at the collection so it's perfect for that and he said he prefers the drive to an R8!

Agree completely. Carbon AND Luxury is such a horrible combo, either have one or the other.

Prefer the little racing blue number in the background ;-)

Have to disagree, it was epic and the carbon looked so nice! Even the carbon grille with the Quattro badge is an option. :d

Agree with the Clio outdoing it though, obviously! ... haha

If you are going to spec a car and can afford to have everything you want, you may as well hadn't you! The only thing he didn't tick was the ceramic brakes but look at the size of them as standard!

The doors don't auto shut, it's just when you don't close it properly or hard enough, it pulls it shut for you! Grabbed a video of it, will get it up tonight!

Disagree - carbon is expensive so can be a way to subtly show value spent, can look stylish too (as its does in the way applied on the audi)

Its used on high end performance cars to save weight. That won't be the case on a heavy RS6 - just there to look good.

3.9 to 60, so maybe does save some weight!

Predominantly to look good though as you say!

At 1935kgs I think the 560BHP and 700nm/516lbft of torque in combination with 4WD plays a little part too  such a stunning car and that guy has spec'd it perfectly
