My R27 F1

I got my car back yesterday after having the wheels powder coated, new 888's and Ferodo DS 1.11 pads fitted.
There is a massive difference now especially with the brakes.
The poor braking was my main concern when I first drove the car. I found that the pedal had a lot of play before the brakes bit and even then they were quite poor. When changing the pads the calipers were a bit sticky so were freed up, now they bite really hard with only a touch and the pads work really well.
The car is really clean anyway so I only gave it a quick wash. It could still be done with a good clay but everywhere I seem to go has just been re surfaced so it would be a waste of time till it all settles down.
I'm not into fancy cameras so there not the best pics

Needs the centre caps doing mate, forgot them lol. Nice colour.

Got the wheels done in Newburgh, I had my Evo wheels done there as well and he's spot on.
I was out in the Gtr yesterday, went to the Exhilarate Scotland driving day and got to drive another one and R8, 997 turbo, DB9 and a tuned Focus RS
still know what I like best :biggrin:

Ah nice one! I was on that Exhilarate Scotland driving thing last year.. Was it round the lochs and stuff? I drove a Caterham, 997 Turbo, DB9 (convertible) and tuned white Focus RS..
