My first RS197

Never remember to update this ....

Spacers are fitted and that drives in a straight line now [emoji108]

Started working on a few other little projects on it with little help from @suj (I have to tag him otherwise he cries)

These include

3d printed foglight brake ducts and 90 degree bend to arch liner to help deflect the air

3d printed light . Designed and supplied by suraj [emoji8]

And finally a 3d printed bonnet alarm sensor bracket

So let me get this straight, wheels....my old ones, the CAD files, more or less mine....emotional support / 3d printer technical support.....so I own your car basically now...kthxbai

Haha, na cars coming along spot on mate

Well since its been a year since I last came on here I though I'd upload some shiz

Car has been faultless so I've done some driving and a nc500 road trip last year .

Haven't had much time to do anything ghis year really since moving house in spetember but I'm finally back on track and wasting money on cars again !

So starting off last year....

*I buyed a 'meglio' gauge face with the reduced rev limit

* 3D printed my own centre caps

* buyed an OMP steering wheel and volantech cc panel

* 3D printed some harness supports to stop them moving along the harness bars

* done a very wet trackday at Donnington

* Fabricated my own intake heat shield

* fitted some aero catches ( nearly had a disaster at donny with the oem catch not latching)

* and lastly completed a 1500 mile trip up to and around the NC500 , shared the driving with my mate in my car. Strange experience being in the passenger seat !

* few bonus pictures from a drive out to Wales 20210401_142659.jpg20210412_171811.jpg20210427_160601.jpg20210518_154823.jpg20210609_115817.jpg20210520_205125.jpg2021-05-21_06-15-51.jpg2021-05-21_06-16-14.jpg20210713_191628.jpgIMG_20210809_195303_424.jpgIMG_20210808_141148_278.jpgDSC_0384.jpgDSC_0272.jpgDSC_0252.jpgIMG_20210807_112959_212.jpgIMG-20210806-WA0013.jpgIMG-20210802-WA0004.jpg20210806_141124.jpgreceived_1021868888352187.jpg20210529_125557.jpg2021-05-30_12-04-19.jpg2021-05-30_12-05-09.jpg2021-05-30_12-07-39.jpg

Finally got back to working on the clio

* starting with rebuilding some hubs that @suj kindly borrowed to me !

* R26 gearbox

* 200 cup rack

* AC delete pulley

* Yellowspeed coiloved (track springs)

* 330mm discs

* new set of PBS pads all round

This thing is gonna be great with all the mods!

Also he did fuck all work on it, as you can see his daughter is the real mechanic!

Booked a Donnington eve session a few weeks back and had an absolute mare .

Went to get an alignment done in the day . 2.5ish degrees of camber and 10min of toe out. That went fine ....

Drove home had a check over the car etc loaded up and went on my way.

Got there roughly an hour and half early so signed on and went to watch the day session .

30mins before sighting laps I headed back to the car and noticed my rear caliper was leaking ffs ...

I'm only 30mins from donny so headed straight home got a caliper from euros . Fitted it and got back within an hour and half [emoji23]

Had an hour and half of small sessions due to red flags. Car felt great whilst I was on track but I think I need some better pads than PBS. I'm thinking DS1.11 ?

Luckily got a few snaps of the car

I’ve tried ds1.11 but now moved on to DSUNO which I personally think are as good or better with half the dust

It certainly has. Most would have binned it when the crank died. Is it now the finished spec or do you have more things planned? The problem with a finished build is there's nothing to build, so it's time to start with something new:laughing:.
