Adam, how's things mate?
A quick question regardingthe Mintex M1144 pads, I am considering them (as you know it's a road car, but I like a good blat round country lanes) I have Brembo discs and pads front (rears are OEM discs and Brembo pads), I just want a bit more for when I push it as it can fade a little.
The price point is good compared to Brembo OEM pads, so if they bite a bit better and fade less, but not too much more squeal then it's a winner, so just trying to gauge what they're like?

Hope you're keeping safe, you lot at CB aren't back in yet are you? Just Solihull?

Hi mate tbh around town and the odd blast I didn't notice the difference between the m1144 and brembo.

As you will have seen previously though they gave up on track after about 3 laps of donny

I love my PBS pads now. Great for what you do. They're fine at low speed and really good when they warm up.

Yeah I'm still furloughed mate. How are you getting on?

Took a trip up to Leeds today to go to rs tuning.

Car behaved itself [emoji108]

It had been remapped previously which I was told it wasn't. (thought it had) and made 253bhp on the dyno but was boosting at 20+psi and causing compressor surge.

I then had 630cc injectors fitted and ran it up again.

It's now making 267.8 hp at the flywheel and nearly 300lbft.

Car drives great and feels completely different!

Thanks then there's no point me spending double as I'm never going on track in this thing really lol.

I bet you're loving the extra time spending time with fam and little one?

I'm still in work, as we build virtual prototypes we're in the highest demand currently lol, it has its pros and cons, makes day go quicker, but loads of work on currently due to so many being furloughed.

Thanks for the reply, loving how far the cars gone from when I met you! Stay safe mate.

Got around to fitting the cage and some OMP harnesses this week along with a few other little bits in the interior that annoyed me.
will be doing a few mechanical bits on the car this weekend as I've booked onto a Cadwell park trackway on the 6th December.

Some absolutely terrible photos but ...

The car has recently had its winter overhaul.

*new wishbone ball joints
*new inner and outer tie rods
*new aux belt
*new exhaust mounts
*full 3" PMS meglio exhaust with 200cell sports cat
*new to me and freshly powdercoated 7.5j speedlines (thanks @suj [emoji8])
*brake fluid flush with RBF660
*a little bit more scaffolding in the back (strut brace)
*DIY steering wheel refurb until Snappy can fit me in

I'm now currently designing and 3D printing my own brake cooling ducts.
