Loving the dash trim sticker

How do you find the Rainsports in all this hot weather? Do they turn to jelly quickly?

I’ve got a set so just curious

Sidewalls are pretty soft on them but apart from that I can't pick any faults with them in all weather . Great all round tyre for me . Had Them on my fiesta and will have them again lol

Dash sticker looks like it should be there from factory [emoji23]

Finally getting around to doing a few things on my car

Have started fitting the cup shocks.


Fronts are now done and the rears should be done by the end of the week .

Taking my time doing them and cleaning everything up whilst it is off the car .

As always I have a few progress pictures

Actually went pretty smoothly apart form a ruined top mount . Could have been worse though lol

not so much going on at the moment , have had a few little things to do such as fixing an exhaust blow and fitting my kill all wipers , wiper delete kit < pita !!!

cup shocks have made the car feel so much better on the road , really liking the set up with the grams springs

the suspension should be given a decent test on Monday 13th of august as I've booked a evening session at Donny. will be my first track day so im looking forward to it!

Had a bit of a car day yesterday to get a few jobs done but as per I forgot to take photos ...

Gave the car and oil and plug service , filter was a right pain in the ass to get off but im sure with the right tool it isn't as bad.

plugs looked pretty clean but replaced them anyway

also tried to investigate an aircon leak I have which I found out about when I took the car to be regassed.

the system would not hold vacuum , I have looked at a few connections but all seems ok , although the condenser is looking a little worse for wear.

finally managed to get the car clean. With the last few weeks of galavanting the car had accumulated a fair bit of crud..

Awesome thread. Car looks great. What thule roof rack feet are they?

I might be fitting grams springs on my 200 soon as it looks like the front driver side spring has snapped.

Thank you mate . They're the Thule 751 feet with 3091 foot pack mate . Grams are a good upgrade in my opinion !

Go for black and yellow it looks awesome !

yeah I use a lambs wool mitt from meguiars and mainly autobrite direct products

Had a pretty good day Monday !

started off with the dreaded MOT but it passed with flying colours (dads mate is a tester)

Then it was time for a short drive up to Donington

car performed brilliantly on track apart from the brakes which was a bit annoying.

car seemed to handle brilliantly and the track tyres I picked up a few months ago were awesome even if I didn't get much heat in them with having to do short sessions because of the brakes.

overall a good day but its time for some new brake pads !
