My first RS197

Have had a spare few hours this week after work so I have started tackling a few jobs on the Clio :smile:

started off yesterday by cleaning the car inside and out including polishing and sealant

also went to collect my wheels from City Wheel Refurbishment.

I placed the wheels in the living room (not to her amusement) so that I could ceramic seal them with G-technic C5



Today I set to work on getting the wheels onto the car.

couldn't help but flush the arches out and dress them with some trim dressing whilst I was there !

made up with how it looks now, just need to save some pennies and get myself a cup spoiler now !

Cheers mate . I feel much better now they're clean .


Haven't got the shocks on yet . I am going to repaint them first so everything in the arches looks clean

Nice one, after doing all that work on your arches, that sounds like a great decision.

was going to say this..Mes beat me to it..bloody hell that's some sparkling arches there..mind popping over to Manchester to do mine??:thumb:

Managed to get a few little jobs done today that have been annoying me

Started by helping fix my mates broken sill . What a pain !

Then I removed my door bullets and painted them black . So much better

I finally fitted my rear quater door seals as mine were very perished

Also cleaned my belts as it seemed the previous owner didn't know what personal hygiene is

Over the past few days I have been spraying some spare dash trims and only today realised that the centre one that houses all the climate control and stereo was the wrong one ! Annoyed !!!

How do you find the Rainsports in all this hot weather? Do they turn to jelly quickly?

I’ve got a set so just curious
