My first fast Renault

Just sold my Alfa MiTo Cloverleaf daily runabout after riding my luck with an Alfa for a year and bought myself a Clio 200

Really enjoying it so far, it's the best cornering front wheel drive car I've ever owned

I say it's a daily runabout but I doubt I will be able to resist modifying it

Welcome in. Ex Alfa owner myself, had a 156 for seven & a half years. Totally reliable actually never let me down. You'll love the Clio. Lotus yours too?

Yep its a series 1 111s, great for a weekend blast but no use for anything else
The Alfa was pretty, luxurious and fairly fast to drive but I prefer something a bit more hooligan
At least we can say we are proper petrol heads :grinning:

Welcome to Clio RS ownership, i'm sure you'll enjoy it. Brings back memories of my Silver 197 Cup which was superb.

HI, I found this post after looking for pictures of a silver Clio on gold wheels. I thought to myself, I know that plate. I now own your old car.

Owned it for almost a year now, done around 8000 miles, 5 track days and a 1500mile roadtrip across Europe visiting 6 countries.

Many of the track days with @Tarticmonkey

It now has GAZ Gold Coilovers and a ZeroPointOne shifter in it.

Next step is to get a set of wheels for some track tyres and maybe swap out the recaros for some fixed bucket seats. (Sacrilege I know).

I’m not very active on here but post on instagram at most points (Bean_hague)
