Cheers mate! Yeah hugely different obv peak power wasn’t massively effected, but it wasn’t running quite right, so through low and mid range its a massive improvement

Haven’t updated this thread in a while so thought I’d keep it going..

Changes: Scorpion Decat pipe and itg panel filter (sold the KTR) RenaultSport Splitter fitted / Godspeed G hooks / Ferodo DS2500 fitred.
Inner rack ends had play so have replaced them and had tracking done HEL lines and fluid change tomorrow.
Tweak map ASAP

- First track day in just under 2 weeks so a chance to really enjoy it!

The to do list keeps growing with this car, I’m hooked..

Progress update:
So I took her on track for the first time, really enjoyed it and spent some time just getting used to track driving - had some tuition, and was probably a bit more cautious than needed due to first time out and wet conditions, however it increased my love and enjoyment for this little Frenchie!

I treated myself to some B14s straight after and have spent today fitting them, pics below;
First impressions.. well, the car now feels incredible

Definitely better than standard, combined with the ds2500 it’s a marked improvement but I do think I’ll go for a more track focused pad like friction z or ds1.11 next

Little update as it’s been a while, few pictures attached, rear interior has been stripped and boot mat fitted, GT rear lights and most recently clio 200 rear diffuser fitted.
Few more things to tick off, cage / harnesses / Quaife / cams / CAE have all been added to the list

Yeah I can imagine . I would say I was lucky with being so close but the massive hole in my tyre wasn't great [emoji23]

Thought I’d keep this thread going, so a little update - I had a change of heart and went back on a few things. Firstly, Recaros have been sold on and replaced with fixed bucket seats (Corbeau Sprint’s) and harnesses.
Secondly, I decided against my plans listed above to keep it n/a and have just completed an R26 conversion, absolutely over the moon with this little thing now, and I’m starting to accept there may never be an end to this project

Little update on the DB Baguette, starting to feel like I’m getting to the end of my build now, with just a few little bits to sort/add and I can hopefully just about call it done - if that’s even a thing..
CAE or CAE style shifter / RenaultSport sideskirts will remain on the want list for the time being!

Very happy with the newly added half cage courtesy of JP Cages, and red UR strut brace to be added shortly, just need to sort something with my rear door cards.

Anyone looking for a rear cage worth keeping an eye on JP Cages page with regular group buys being run.
