How I did it:



And the airbox at this weather/temperature is ALWAYS COLD, not even warm! Yesterday, after 30 min of street racing with my friends it was cold. And the moment we've stopped I've checked the airbox.

i would ditch the vacuum pipe to the acustic valve its now redundent with the v6 air box - just needs a small blanking plug in the end of the exit from the manifold

Here some pictures of my installation.. as you can see it has some cold air drawn to it.. the question is ofcourse is this amount of air sufficient.. Don't think so but okay.. here are the pictures.

Not Ideal, try ducting it downwards to pick up air from the gearbox area

Dont you find your car loses alot of poke when u put the k&n on? I did when I put it on when i first got my 197.
