My Wifes 50th this weekend. So got alot planned. So went in at 5.30am this morning to finish at 2.

Been working on the outside of the car since 2.15pm and just walked in. Such a nice afternoon to be outside messing around......

So failed miserably already :-(

What's he been doing for 5 hours! Is bet shuv could easily loose twice that time and prob still spend more on it! Lol, Im sad to say I've seen me in the garage at times on a warm night after midnight having a polish (the car that is!) I know where shuv is coming from on an earlier post, it's embarrassing at time admitting it!

Lol, I was just thinking of updating my 'locations thread' with some new pics now the suns out! You'll be the same, don't deny it!

After midnight ! Really ? Now that is seriously dedicated and impressive work. I'm an early bird type of guy. Maybe i'd be more like you if i had a double garage though ! As i've said before: I love a clean car - and i just enjoy being outside in the fresh air on a nice day.

For the record; 5 hours in: i've managed an outside clean and dry, Wheels cleaned and sealed, and tyres treated. Looking forward to getting up early Sat and getting some wax on and moving to the interior.


Now......'we've' (Me,Chris and Pav) spammed your thread enough. Next post needs to contain some real; in the flesh, freshly cleaned Albi shots

Spam away bud just love the banter! Ps the midnight thing is not a regular thing! Lol, yes want to get her out, have to get the grass cut too, 4 lights moved and do a bit of painting! I'll make that a 'hope it get it out!'

Good weather sends the cleaning mode into overdrive and the lighter nights help too, have a great day tomorrow and rem the wife ahead of the car esp this weekend

Lol mate, have a few plans tbh but the house is taking first preference tbh, new kerbing and tar along the front, extending drive area at the side, new kitchen, new sunroom refit etc!

Plans for the car are

New front struts, prob staying std as the ride with the springs isn't all that bad tbh and they are just new anyway
New rear discs, new pads from the front and rear too
Full belts and water pump kit at the end of the year with the service
New branded hoses
Possibly drop the rear subframe and get it powdercoated
Repaint and service calipers (going yellow)
Possible a full leather and alcantara retrain thanks to that bollocks shuv!

Sorry haven’t been able to share any pics but since photobucket ended free hosting I’ve tried a few, I’m with imgur and can post pics everywhere but here, it copies the link then pastes a load of letters and numbers! Was sitting with shuv for about a hour one night trying to work it out but no joy so sadly that’s why I don’t post as much, sort of feel a bit left out when you can’t post your pride a joy sadly.

Btw still as good as I got it and only about 1k miles extra! Lol, just got the fully belts and service done in December and plans for new front struts, rear discs and calipers, code the door handles and paint the calipers ( anthracite with a yellow decal)

Glad to hear its still as good as when you got it. I'm guessing the plan of using it as the winter car didn't work out then?

Not sure about colour coding the door handles, I aways thought about getting them done the same colour as the wheels.
