sorry if this has been covered before but just wondered what the most common/popular headunit replacement is that people do on here. will be upgrading mine soon but not sure which one to pick.

so which one does everybody like, alpine, philips, kenwoods, etc

Does this work with your steering wheel control?

Most if not all of them you can buy these days will work but all need adapters.

Depends on what car it is, more recent cars use the same adapter as the 225/230 meganes. Older Clio's might require a different one.

It's an 07 197 reckon it'll be Ok, if not can't see being a problem moving it on.

Why as what the most popular is? Surely you will want one that meets your needs and personal taste. You best bet is to go along to a car audio shop and chat to someone in there and get a feel for what you like most, they will also be able to advise you as to what will and wont work with the in car controls.
