Modified Throttle Body

I know theres a How To thread on this and someone else has done it but thought i'd post up my experiences with it.

Took it to my local machinist shop to get the step bored out but they wanted £80 for the honour lol, so quickly went home and took the job on myself.

Wasnt particulary hard but to get a perfect mirror finish took a whole day and night.

As for performance gains, most probaly placebo effect but feels a little more responsive down low...

Sorry about poor quality, pics from phone.

Took about 3 hours with 1200 wet & dry and a tube of Autosol to get the finish lol, demorilising.

As far as I can tell it certain is the same asthetically.

i mite swap them over and have a gander, if it runs on it then i will dremel and polish the one that came off me car, or just get it done when i get me inlets done.

ive ordered one off craig, going to modify it and see how it runs, my car seems to be running really quick at the moment? seems to be pulling more mid range and top end.
