Hi guys,


Two questions....


Firstly how do I know if my system is resonated? is that hat the mid box is?

And secondly does your miltek make a sort of air rushing whistle noise when under load or have I got a leak?

Resonated systems have the middle silencer. You shouldn't get a whistle noise, check the sections where it's joined

Can't hear Amy whistle but it sounds pretty good and also pretty loud for a Milltek so I'd guess it's a non resonated.

Id have said the opposite Angel, sounds quiet?


Just look under the middle of your car and if theres a box in the middle then its resonated.

had a look under doesn't have a box... looks like it use to as there is a middle silencer delete pipe... think its blowing out of a join on there somewhere maybe? will wait til I can get under it next week!

Well a blanket on the floor and a friend on the gas pedal and you should be ale to feel if its blowing if you think its a particular joint.

yeah its a miltek decat makes a funny sort of resonating noise at about 4000 + only on full throttle though think its probably blowing a bit.....

Might be blowing yeah I agree check where the decat is attached mine did it just took it off and re fitted and sorted it
