Posting this in the 200 section as I’m not sure where else to stick it.

Saw this 200 meglio last night at the Porsche Sheffield cars and burgers thing. Owner didn’t care to say much but claimed it’s 400 brake. Is that even possible on a meg lump? Don’t know it was a r26 or rs250 lump but I doubt the owner would have known the difference.

I’m sure @Big Ben hit over 400 on the dyno and turned it down to 380ish to make it a bit safer

It's a 225 engine. 400 is possible, but not without forging and a big turbo, and preferably some kind of boost controller.

Though forging would be required, as well as needing some extra cooling too.

Can tell from the pic. Inlet manifold, throttle body location, and compressor side boost pipe for example

I run a forged 225, runs 360bhp, 340torque, and so far, very reliable.

It’s possible on a forged engine with uprated fuel system and a Garrett turbo. Painfully expensive and still struggle with oil temps but when it’s running right it’s absolutely epic!

Turbo definitely looks to be changed from the factory TD04 on that one so I'm guessing 400ish isnt too far off the mark.
