Meg 250 Sport Yellow

Had the car just over a week now and love it, such a nice drive and quite comfortable. I havent looked at the mpg so dont ask me what im getting lol, if you dont want to see something you dont look :smile:

Ordered some black diamond covers which I think ill carbon dip before I fit them as Ive wanted to carbon dip my mirrors too once I get better at it. No arty pictures yet as I havent had chance to go anywhere but got these the other morning outside work (yes..... I need some bolt covers)

Looks nice, although it's missing the cup pack and apparently the LSD is one of the main reasons to get one of these. Also no recaros :worried:
 
I don't get the recaros or cup comments tbh as this is my daily driver so most of the time I'm not going to miss the cup suspension etc and the current seats are uber comfy! That isn't aimed directly at you Matt don't get me wrong lol, it's just I've had that comment so many times and I've only owned the car a week haha!

Is also down to personal preference and the recaros/cup pack are highly desirable so just helps with resale :smile:

Trophy has it as standard but had i of gone for a 250/265 then I'd have only want one with recaros and the cup pack - but thats just me. As I say, all personal preference :smile:
 
Yeah Steve totally get that as I made the same decision when buying my 197, it HAD to have the Recaros lol. Oh and your car is just :001_wub:

But as you say though, is a daily driver and on the UK roads where there is a pot hole every 4CM, slightly softer suspension would be welcomed.

LSD you can really feel on the track. Occasionally when out and about ill try wind up the other half when shes in the car and as approaching a corner will say "shall we try get the LSD to kick in..." then hammer it around a corner, but before you know it you are getting to silly speeds

Saw you mention further back about black diamonds. You just buying from eBay? I was looking for some but they are all about £40 for two bits of plastic lol. Was thinking of leaving my diamonds as they are because the chrome matches my nurburgring sticker. hmmm
 
Yeah I grudgingly paid the £40 because I couldn't find them anywhere else (yes from Ebay). I do still think back now and wonder why the hell I paid £40 but hey ho, you earn it, you spend it :smile:
 
Cheers Warren, the bore lasted just over a year. It served a purpose to be fair, needed to save some money due to a larger mortgage I was taking on and it really was cheap motoring.
 
lol not just yet mate but it is on my mind. Id like to last a year really before I spend any big money on it. Id love a Milltek exhaust but dont have the cash so hopefully ill be able to remap and exhaust at the same time.

Chrome wheel nut covers to hid the rusty nuts
Debadged the MEGANE
Carbon Dipped diamonds front and rear
Carbon Dipped Renault Sport badge with sport yellow lettering
Forum stickers added
