Matts Clio 4 Dynamique

As some of you know I currently have 2 Clio's. My RS and the wife's Dynamique. Well she has always hinted that she may want to customize her car as there are a few around to be honest. So did some digging around and found something she liked. What she wants to do is a Clio 4 Iconic replica.

Think it came out well and have had a few good comments already


The Iconic also came with a leather interior so i began searching for a set of leather seats. I managed to find the set that came with the car that I got the rims from. So i bought them and had them shipped up to Witbank.


We started by stripping the interior from the rear to the front....

















Taking the seats out was actually fairly easy. Putting the seats back we did the reverse of the removal..














Everything was fairly easy to do. We have however hit a small snag that we will be fixing when home again in Oct. As the Rs does not have the stop start function, there is no sensor in the seat to say there is a driver in the seat. So will be taking that from the old seat and rerunning the wiring for the sensor into the leather seats.
But overall she is very happy with the outcome and as a added bonus the heated seats still work.


Also a few smaller things where done but no pics of those. All the globes and indicators have been changed bar the fogs. Rims where also refurbed as had slight curb rash. I am busy customizing some headlights that will be going on to her car as well, as soon as they done.

Having the heating seats work is definitely an added bonus! The roof wrap looks really good too. How hard was it finding the leather seats?

Them seats are very similar to the leather RS seat, bar red stitching/logo from the looks of it.

They are seats from a rs. Going to have the head rest recovered to get rid of the RS logo.

The seat weren't to hard to find as the car i got my rims from had these seats in so bought them from the spare scrap yard

Roof is awesome. Seat are pretty fantastic too !

Once you had the back seats out, I couldn't help but notice that it looks oddly familiar to the Clio 3 Chassis... Hmm.

Bloody hell, didn't even realise, I was looking at the last picture where its a bit blurred and you can hardly see the logo!

While at home had the wing mirrors wrapped in the same design as the roof to finish it off.







Really happy with the results thus far. Still got a few plans for it so that will come with time.

Have done some more work to the Wife's Clio. I bought her the front spoiler and side skirts from the carbon kit of off Renault. This is a genuine Renault kit so fits straight on. Need to modify the front bumper slightly as per instructions but all went well.











Just need to get the rear piece that will finish it off nicely.

Always thought that kit looks good. I like the front splitter on the 200 too. Where's that from?

That splitter is similar to the 1 Elia make.

While i was at home i did some work on the wife's car. We added some HIDs to the stock lights in prep for the modded lights.
