Matt's Blue 197 + Previous motors

Hello all, relatively new to the site.

A little background, I sold my Impreza STI to buy a house a couple of months ago. I have been driving a 1.2 Clio for a while and decided I wanted something a bit more fun.

Went and viewed a couple of 197's and ended up buying this.

My Previous cars:

My first Impreza STI - 334BHP

Then my second Impreza STI - 372bhp:

I then went on to buy a house and downgrade to a 1.2 clio - ill not bore you with pictures of it lol.

SO. This is my new little toy:
2007 Renault Clio 197
Full service history with timing belt / water pump etc done.
Lowered on springs
Spacers all round
Decat exhaust
Auto lights / wipers / cruise control
Cup spoiler
Renault Sport front Splitter

And I'm sure theres more I've missed!

So far I've mainly only purchased boring stuff, New tyres all around + break pads.

I did however get myself a steering wheel retrimmed by Royal Steering Wheels, I went with Perforated Leather at the sides and normal leather top and bottom with red stripe at the 12 o'clock position. Going to get it fitted at the weekend and take a few more pictures for youse.

Comments and Criticism welcome.

Matt.

Welcome Matt, I'm new here too I've come from the evo background owning a evo iv and evo vi. Had to change direction as the other half past her test and we need to share a car! How are finding the car?

nice collection of cars..must have been a shock to go from 372bhp to 197..wish you a lot of happy miles with your 197..looks very nice..

Yeah the cars good, miss the big power and AWD but the 197 returns decent MPG, looks sporty and has a bit more of a modern interior.
We bought a house out in the country, its around a 30mile commute and £20 of petrol in the Subaru was around 60miles - Just couldn't get the 'Man Maths' to add up lol.

Thanks!
It was even worse, I went from the 372bhp STI to a 1.2 75BHP Clio lol. Thanks a lot, happy with the Clio so far
