Matts Albi 200

Hi chaps,

Been floating about the forums for a little while but realised i hadn't put a progress thread up. So here goes!

Come up to a 200 from a ph1 172 and then a massive mistake of a 225. Started working up the road from a Renault dealers early this year, drove past on my first day, saw this outside, by the end of my first week it was mine. Word of warning though, Parkwood motorline Renault, don't go there, shower of the brown stuff.




35k on it, Had new discs and pads all round, and mini service, a years MOT, and they did the cambelt on it as it was due [emoji1360]

Anyway, picked it up, and have never looked back, such a fantastic little car. Found out it's got the cup pack which is something that Renault hadn't told me which was a nice thing to find out.

But yeah, I've just been enjoying the car for now, looking at getting a sprint spoiler, b14s and spacers in the near future, but apart from that I'm over the moon with it.

I was going to buy that car but it sold the day I called! I ended up buying the black non-cup they had after they knocked a grand off it. I dealt with Jordan and was pleased with the service - though I didn't think much of the Sales Manager (Lawrence, I think).
I'm in Chatham, so you must be fairly local too? Yours is a lovely example, whereas mine took me a while to like, but I couldn't refuse the money off plus all the work they had done to it. Plus my gf hated the ride of the cup pack :thumb1:

It's got the black insert headlights which make it look really good! Tho noticed it's still got the old RS badge on the boot!

Haha sorry mate! I got the one you wanted. I also dealt with Jordan and thought the opposite, the boy doesn't know what he's talking about for their "Rs specialist" you would have thought he would have known about the cup pack lol just been general grief with them since day 1. I did look at the black one, but couldn't turn down the colour of this one and the deal I got in the end was silly haha. I'm in Bearsted mate, so just down the road from the dealers, and my gf got used to the cup pack quickly, was either deal with it or get out lol

I have noticed this, when looking at others always think they look odd with silver lights lol is it an optional extra or something that some have black and some have silver?

And yeah I'm probably going to be getting a new RS badge and it does look a bit fresher.

The black inserts mean it's not the Cup model as far as I'm aware. That's not to be confused with the cup 'pack' cars as mine has them also, but it doesn't have the cup pack.

Ah okay, would make sense I suppose, to be honest, I think they look better with the black lights. And yeah mines not a cup, but it's got the pack.

So a map is gonna be happening in the next few months [emoji1360] gonna be getting a scorpion exhaust and decat and a panel filter also to make it more worth my while. Any other little things I could do to increase air flow or benefits from the map?
