Material next to drivers glass.

Basically the black material next to the glass (see pic) has gone faded and horrible. Is there any way this can be replaced?

I didn't take the old stuff off - just wrapped over the top.

Not got any pics of the inside. I just over wrapped the edges by 1/2 inch and then heated it up to get a smooth finish. Used a hot air gun and stanley knife to do the bit on the leading edge as is goes into the rubber seal on the front windows, just needs heating up, pushing in and cutting off the excess.

Do you notice that theres a much thicker step and the top? where it meets the paint or does it not notice that much?

I never really noticed it is only like 40microns thick (same as a hair) so it isn't much different!

thats where i went wrong with mine, i brought 100microns!! i never knew there was different ones, you dont have a link to where u got ur wrap from do you?

It is just the usual 3M stuff, pretty sure it is the thinnest you can get, it is definitely the best to work with.

I bought it from these guys:
