The actual products make little to no difference. What you have will work just as well on the yellow paint as they did on the white. The preparation is key when it comes to detailing.
Anything made by Zaino!! Best gloss/wet look products I've ever used. And so easy to apply and work with. Look on cleanyourcar.com. Well priced as well.

This is true, prep is paramount. Wash once with iron x and then wash again will be where u need to start. Just that and Zaino quick detail looks so fresh.

Not true, I'm afraid, while prep is the key, there are a lot of products, that will put the the zing into the pearl. I know from having an Ultimate green Focus RS, that you can actually change the colour of the paint, by changing the way the light hits it, and make the pearl really pop with the choice of waxes and prep products. While a good wax protects, there are products that make the pearls really sing.
A lot of it is trial and error, but EZ shine prior to Dodo Supernatural, worked well on my Focus RS. Supernatural is a good all round wax, that works with most, but using the likes of purple candy could enhance the zing of the pearl. Beauty of Dodo is you can get panel pots to try, alternatively try the same question on Detailing world
I've been detailing cars long enough to know that final products account for about 0.01% of the finish (I used to do it for a living, and yes I'm talking details not valeting). If you feel that your chosen products make a difference to your car then that's great keep using them but I wouldn't be going out and buying (or telling somebody else to do so) something when what they have will do the same job. I personally have tried circa a 100 or so waxes and sealants (still have around 30-40 in the house) and while some are easier to use you couldn't tell the difference between them when by the finish produced. Just my opinion though.
Only thing I will say us that sealants tend to work/look better on lighter colours and waxes on darker. But it doesn't matter what wax or sealant.
Think i need to invest in some snow foam, iron x then i may look at a couple of the zaino products from the recommendation.
No rush though as its winter so the car just gets filthy so quick. For now until it improves will probably just end up giving it quick washes to keep the dirt down
Yeah, at the moment its not too bad as the dealership detailed the car Friday before i picked it up. But i think another good clean will be due sometime soon in the new year if i gave it quicker washes for now.
Will have a look on cleanyourcar.com and bookmark a few things
