I'm going to fit some H&R springs some time this week but after doing another car I thought there may be a way to lower the front further by almost 10mm without cutting in to the shocks travel.
The stock shock has a fin welded to the shock body. The fin slots into the hub assembly to centre the shock and it has a cut-out (as seen in the pictures) that determines how low it can go in the hub before it rests against the securing bolt.
I was thinking about extending that cut-out so it can rest a bit lower, maybe 8mm.
I'm thinking this might also put a bit more tension in the anti roll bar reducing which might be helpful.
Since the H&R's are 30mm drop front and 40mm back this may keep some of the rake if I can drop the front a tiny bit further.
Thoughts?
