Heading back to Scotland again this week for work.... 5 hour drive and 300 miles (Bham to Glasgow)..

any tips to make the time go quickly apart from Talk Sport and 5 Live?

Got my Karl Pilkington Pod casts ready to go and plenty of sweets. :thumbup:

It does get on my t1ts that there are a stupid amount of speed Camera's on the M6/M74 and yet there's hardly any cars on it from Preston onwards..

Also won't be the Clio but a lowly 5 speed Astra - :thumbdown::thumbdown:

....Not even anything decent to look at either.. just loads of hills

I know- that's worrying me quite a bit. Hopefully will be coming back Friday morning...

During the last bought of bad snow I was working down in felixstowe/Norwich/great Yarmouth area. Not fun!
Took me an hour to get out the road the hotel was on. It was the day they closed the A12/14 and as I was driving back to yorkshire I must have passed 30 odd mile of parked cars that had been parked up all night. The journey should take about 4 1/2 hours it took the best part of 9 hours! with some very very close calls :|
