Little flat spot in 5th

You must be driving really fast Clios if your cars pull hard in 5th gear @5.5krpm.

My pulls "hard" till the end of 4th gear (~180km/h) and then like it stalls...

just noticed its a 200 with the longer geared box!!

at that speed mines doing about 86-88mph...

so the 200 will be closer to 93-96mph?

but it should still "pull" even at that speed/revs as its still 40mph below max speed and shouldnt "flat spot"!

i had this problem but in 2nd and 3rd gear only, changed plugs and now its fine. my car is on 18k. reckon its the super unleaded burning the plugs.

didnt do it today... purposefully accelerated steadily through the whole rev range and all gears. not a blimp.

Sounds like a an intermittent hesitation/misfire. I'd get it on my diagnostic equipment or take it to Renault if its under warranty. You'll be forever changing parts/chasing it round other wise replacing/checking stuff. Could be plugs, coils, injectors, fuel system, sensors anything...
