Sorry thought you was from west mids, seen a 59 reg ly200 round by me thought it was you. Ive seen your from essex. Lol

LOL @ FF. Full fat used to mean all the cup packs on the 182, ie fully loaded, so full fat.

A standard 197 or 200 is just that. The LY 200 isnt cupped so its a standard 200 with optional speedline alloys and LY paint

On this forum we refer to them however we like. A lot of people on here ain't on Cliosport so can call 'em what they want

I don't see the difference, thought people called a 1*2 with all the extra bits a full fat regardless of it having cup packs or not.

Exactly. The new generation of RS owner go by this. Not the old guard like those that "rule" over on Cliosport.

They were/are wrong

A 172 ff doesn't exist as there no options. Like a 197 'ff' didn't exist untill late 07 as there were no cup options, so

197
197 cup
197 cup packed (ff if you wish)
200
200 cup.
200 cup pack,

see that makes sense, full fat means fully loaded, how can something be classed as fully loaded if its missing its cup options

To me full fat means the heavy option, i.e. the standard car with all the extra bits like soft touch dash. If it had the cup pack then it would be 197 full fat with cup pack.

Anyway, we all know what we mean!

+1

I'd have said that way around, the 197 cup was lighter with all the options missing, cheaper dash etc.

The normal 197 (£1k more) with all the options was heavier, adding the cup pack did not make it any lighter, it was still the same weight so was fatter.

I always thought it referred to the fact the Clio 197 was the heavier and better equipped version, with the other being a cup. Cup pack on a 197 doesn't make it any heavier, so the term full fat would be kind of pointless. That's what I always thought anywho. lol!
