Intermittent wipe

Not sure if this is in the right section. Has anybody had trouble with their intermittent wipe. Mine doesn't seem to work at all. If your move the ring to alter the space of the wipe it wipes once and that's it. Speed 1 & 2 are fine and the wipers slow when you come to a stop. Im assuming it doesn't have rain sensitive wipers as there doesn't appear to be a setting.

First click down is autowipe, the ring with the rain drops on is sensitivity.

Looks like it doesn't work then unless the French think you don't need wipers when it's chucking it down ! Take it the sensor is behind the rear view mirror

Yeah it is. I think some people had issues after using certain cleaning products on the windscreen. Maybe try cleaning the glass over the sensor with some vinegar and see if it makes a difference.

Sorted. It must have had a replacement screen at some point and auto glass hadn't refitted the rain sensor gel pad !
