Hi guys just thought id make a thread to get an opinion from some of you guys.
I got my 197 in march whilst still on my first year of insurance and moved it over from my old 1.2 Punto (which i paid £1600 to insure) to the 197 and had to pay a extra £800 to insure it from march until august when my original policy runs out.
Ive been shopping around for quotes and the lowest im getting is around £2400(with a black box) for another years insurance on my 197 even though i would have 1 years NCB and have held my licence for nearly 3 years (im also 21).
Its making me consider moving on from the clio for a few years. Atleast until the insurance becomes more reasonable or more affordable for me. Its a bit strange because i got a quote for a Audi TT Quattro 3.2 V6 and it was only £1500, same story with a Lexus IS 250 V6.
Doesnt really make sense to me that my little Clio is £1000 more to insure than a 3.2L V6 Audi TT
Do you think i should just move on for now?
If i were to move on how much should i expect to get for my 197?
Its a 56 plate in nimbus grey with FSH, 2
panoramic sun roof
xenon headlamps including headlight washers + dedicated fixed cornering lights
cabasse 6 cd audio system
auto lights & wipers
climate control
start button
keyless entry
cruise control
I think the only option it could be missing is cup pack, recaros and auto folding mirrors. Its also done 71k Miles and its just had new front discs and pads.
