Installer scratched my centre trim whilst fitting my new HU!.. Spot on!

How much would a new one of these be mine is like a grey/anthracite colour?

IIRC they are £60 but I aren't 100% sure. I would just get one and send them the bill...

about 4x that iirc.

Oh yes they will defo be paying mate!

It's only the smallest of marks but I know it will do my head in so I am making them change it.

Best of it is I have to go back to get my HU installed again as the 400BT Bluetooth unit was faulty!

Head is done in!

You will be very lucky to find one second hand been looking for 2 months.

I'll just order it from Renault down the road mate.

The car audio installers will most likely be claiming it off the insurance then at that price!

Like I say the scratches are small but I'm not having it like that through no fault of my own.

I don't think so mate one of them is more like a chip!

Anyway I wouldn't be happy with it being buffed out they will just be replacing for a brand new one.

I'd be more worried about Renault fitting a new dash correctly but I'm sure you have comeback if your not happy with their work.

I'd be tempted to get it painted by a decent bodyshop, would probably get a better finish than standard

Was this done by an audio shop or a halfords type set-up? Bloody careless to scratch your console!

It's a shame they scratched it. I'm bout one for my 197 off eBay from a company called Clio spares, I paid £40 for it

Like I say they are small scratches and a chip.

They will just have to cough up for the replacement.

The mark really is minute and most people would not even notice it or ideal for someone wanting to wrap it.
