Inside our ECU

Opened up my ECU on my R27 to see what type of chip reader or emulator to get and this is what I saw. Any ideas what the top left empty port is for? Do you guys think that you can actually use an emulator at the port?

Quite sensitive indeed. Thats why I want to know whats the top left port for. Doing anything to the chips on a circuit board like this would be a nightmare.

Nothing wrong with taking an ECU out the box - i've taken scores of Evo ECU's in and out of boxes
