Hi Steve just went out to the car and checked the Immobiliser light should be blinking 4 times a second on entry to the car and ready to start then stays solid during the cranking phase and goes out when the engine starts so unlikely the Immobiliser is the problem. You don't have the message on the dash while trying to start saying steering unlocked so doubtful that the starter fuse has blown and you can hear the starter solenoid engage but I think Antti O had the fuse problem but he heard the relays switching but you could have a look and a read through his problem like me we had worked on the manifold and the start motor heat shield touched the starter motor positive and blew the starter fuse.

If it was just the starter motor you could bump start it that would be a check easy done with enough space and push power available. Dumdum did a great job on the cruse control retro fit I was quite amazed so he would be more than capable to find the fault.
An easy check if you get no power at the starter terminal is the positive battery terminal the picture I can find has a blown link so don't think you have to have the same just showing you were to check.

The big terminal should have constant 12Volts the smaller top right terminal is the switching signal to engage the starter.
