Quite right.
Rememeber it's quite rare to see a Clio with over 100k...
They're not that old yet and most people who buy them don't do many miles or if they do, they keep it for 18 months tops and sell it.
Quite right.

I'm getting rather tempted to keep the 200T for road and get anether 200 for track fun
Do you think the 200 is better on track than the 200t?
Well both have FSH and if I can get one at 36k for the same price as one that's done 70k feels a better option to me
All personal preference I guess!
I've bought a few cars in the South of England, I live in Northern Ireland. My mates have done the same. If it's the right car it's worth travelling for no matter how far.
The one on 36k needs a fair chunk of work. -
Realistically its a 6250 car.
The key is £175
The Wheels refurb @ £125-150
The wing mirror wont touch up- liquid yellow doesn't 'touch up'- it would need to be sprayed- or if your lucky find one on a breaker
Seat bolster is around £100 a panel.
THe good points are it is highly specced with Climate & Projector lights & the big plus point is the cambelt has been done by the BEST specialist.
All the work required is a cost bit its a good base car.....

Buy my RB200 í*½í¸
I'd bargain down for the wing mirror, key isn't a huge issue just carry a spare battery imo and replace when you can. Thanks this really helps. He says he wouldn't take less than 7.2k....
I was thinking 6.5k so good to know my head is in the right ballpark sort of figure.
I'm sad now though
Do I bargain more or walk away....??

sarah_casper you know there was only around 80 LY R27s made. A few have been written off over the years too so your probably looking for one of 60-70 cars. You might be lucky and find one with low milage but they're all starting to get on a bit in age (at least 7 years old) and many will have been used as a daily driver so the milage will be over 50k. The average UK car does 12k per year so going on that 84k would be average for a '07 car. Any reason you want a R27 specifically? Would a LY 197 with Recaros and a cup chassis not do the same job?
Saw a LY R27 for sale with 12,000 on it a couple of months ago.
There's hope.
