How to get to position II with keyless (prevent steering lock)

As the title suggests, having some work done on the car, on a ramp. Stuggling to figure out how to set keyless so it's the equivalent of position II on a normal ignition, so steering lock doesn't come on when working on the car.

I believe you insert the card in the slot and hold the start button until the steering unlocks

There’s no slot in my car, not that I’ve found yet.

Doing this seems to go to position 1, like the fans come on and stereo. Doesn’t disengage steering lock though.

Put the card in the slot, start car, turn car off, leave the card in the slot

The steering lock will not engage

get in dont touch pedals - make sure in neutral

insert keycard in slot

press & hold start until ignition comes on fully

This is gonna sound really daft, but there's no slot in my car - 2010 Gordini. Where is it in your cars?
