Since 29.12.2016.. couple of months.
My car stays original. They are most desirable in original condition, at least here in Finland where we have total less than 7 clio 197 left.
Got mine June 2016 so owned her roughly 9 months so far.
Was a very, very rocky start to the relationship which involved it being back with the dealership for a total of about 16 weeks for a gearbox refurb and an ABS issue, but since that's been sorted I've been over the moon with her
Here is was when I picked her up:
And here she is now, visually pretty much the same but louder and stiffer
Had the first for over 6 years, done about 85k miles in it, surprisingly reliable, nothing went wrong with it during my time with it except for the balljoints and an exhaust manifold, gearbox was solid and never crunched, typical maintenance it was, ended up being put on a set of cup dampers with eibach springs which turned it into a very pleasing thing to drive.
The second one is the R27, just had it a bit over 18 months now, but its a real joy, and so far just as reliable. Bought a set of Braid Fullrace A for her last summer, all standard apart for the wheels.
I bought mine in January 2011. I kept it standard until October 2015, and then as I was falling out of love a little with the car I did some stuff, and now I'm more in love with the car than ever
