Help me choose my wheels

Just collected my car from the garage where the Eibach springs have been fitted.

First impressions are:

Looks = WOW and WOW again.
Its a bit lower than a Cup set-up and the wheels are tucked nicely into the arches unlike before when the car looked like it was floating.
It doesn't look like its been lowered unless you put it net to another FF 197 which is just the look i wanted.

Ride = Firmer but not harsh at all.
The bouncy rebound of the standard springs has gone!
Its not a harsh ride but it is firmer and feels much flatter in the corners.

Can't wait to get a few miles under the wheels.
Should sink a little more too as the springs settle.

i got mine straight from rimstock (who are team dynamics). i only live up the road from them, brought a spare wheel last week, spec- pro race 1.2s, 5 x 108, ET45 in gloss black, cost me £120ish, when i first brought a set x 4,cost me £414.

Just quoted me £136 per wheel and said only one offset of 50 was available!
They are cheaper on RimStyle and i'd prefer a max offset of 53 like is says on their website: http://www.teamdynamicsracing.com/pro-race/Pro-race12.htm

Or is that not available on the clio, 3 weeks lead time too which i hadn't factored in...

was that from rimstock, mine am ET45, i ordered mine in person thou. unless thats a set thats already cast. ring them back and give them the exact spec you want dont ask as they may fob you off with **** like that.it says they do it on there site and tell them that.

I called Rimstock mate and this is what they said.
I told him that i know people with different off-sets and he mugged me off.
I said that the website says you can have a 53 off set and again he said only 50 was available for the 197; :jumpon:

Pro Races, loved mine on the gti, especially after the refurb. I got mine second hand, with nearly new proxes t1-rs for £240 delivered....bargain?

Can't go wrong with TDs but I think unless your going to touch up the writing like the pug above then make sure you call them and pay the extra to have them minus the writing.

Car does sit well Tom. I bet your dead chuffed, I'll def have to keep my eye out for you

Marshall your 106 looks frigging EPIC! Makes me want one for my track car, but I have no pennies :worried:

Robo alot of work went into it. Constant fettling, got annoying in the end hense the purchase of the clio. I do miss it though. 141bhp at the fly after the rebuild! The grp n exhaust sounded sooooo nice, rasp pop bang flame rasp pop
