Help engine noise

Hi guys, wondering if anyone could help. I have this strange engine noise that's sounds really worrying. I've uploaded a YouTube video

I'm far from being an expert. But i would say that sounds like the bottom end has gone to me unfortunately. But as i said i'm not an expert! Hopefully someone else can back it up.

Thanks for your reply Lewis! That's what I was thinking, the dipstick also snapped but that happened when it was out, so I'm unsure if more of it has snapped in there but that wouldn't explain the noise. It doesn't sound good does it! Hoping it hasn't, as its probably not worth repairing, only had the car a month or so! Il await a few more comments, it's going to the mechanic tonight

is there oil in it......splash in 1/2 ltr see if make a difference becuase if you have nt checked the oil in a long while it maybe so low its causing the engine rattle

Yeah bottom ends gone.no amount of oil added will fix that.its dead

That’s dead... not worth rebuilding when engines go for 400 sheets...
