Hi guys! I'm Jake, 19 and from Melksham in Wiltshire.

Anyway, I have owned my 197 for just over a week now. Always been a huge Renaultsport fan. Well, when I say always I mean since I started driving! Ha. I bought a RS Twingo 133 complete with the cup chasis etc brand new, back in December 2009 as my introduction to Renaultsport ownership. I must say that I actually loved the car and it was a great joy to own. I had it for 14 months from new before trading it in, purely because I wanted to upgrade to the next logical step, the 197.
So, I now own a 57 plate 197 with 25k on the clock in Nimbus Grey. A fantastic car and it is a joy to drive!
Anyway, I'm sure I'll enjoy my stay here and I hope to meet a few of you at French Car Show this year.

Whats the longest you have actually kept a car for lol?? Im 19 on my second car, a mate of mine is on i think his 5th and I thought that was alot of cars !!

These have all been 'second' cars mate.
Well, I got my 106 Quiksilver on my 17th Birthday. Then after having that I bought the first XSi off a friend of mine cheap. Well, I kept the two and had the Quiksilver as my daily driver and started to build the XSi into a track car. I finished it, kept it for like a month. Then in December 2009 I traded my Quiksilver in for my RS Twingo and decided to break the XSi for spares. Since then all of the other cars are ones that I have bought cheaply off mates! Like MoT failures etc, so I've repaired them then sold them on. So really, I have only had three cars if you see what I mean! Ha. (The Quiksilver, Twingo & now the Clio)
