Hello from Chesterfield

Hello guys

Im Ryan from Chesterfield. Im a straight forward guy, very honest! maybe too honest at times

I currently drive a Fiesta ST, but now on the look out for a RS Clio 197 and have a budget of around 7.5k, Hoping to get one with a Cup pack. Still not 100% on what Clio's are all about, but i am ready to find out. Hoping some of you guys will be able to point me in the right direction when it comes to 197's.

So anyway, feel free ramble on about 197's to me! I need know everything i need to know before i throw my cash at one.

Plenty of good cars around for that price, check out a few before you comit, i looked at around 14 before buying mine.

Guess you are the one i seen the other day on Newbold Rd then? Lovely looking car you have if so.

I have a Colorado red ST, few of them around here similar to mine though.

That would have been me, cheers. I have seen you about a few times, recognise your plate. And I'm sure its yours that sounds proper meaty. I always see another ST around with like green trim

Blue with green trim, yeah i have seen him about.

Yeah my car can sound a bit meaty when i want it to .... Needs to go now to make way for a 197.

Would love to get a 200 but i have made promises to the mrs for this year so 7.5k maybe 8k is the most i can spend.

Preferably hoping for a Albi blue with cup pack and the revised gearbox. White is on the cards though if i find a good deal. Went to look at a white one in Sheffield the other day by i reckon it had been messed with due to the gaps in some panels.

He always has a collection of very well kept cars for sale. Not sure if you will be able to see the link tho, you may have to become a paid member but its only a fiver and you'll get loads of discounts and offers from the traders so well worth it.

Albi blue is well nice, one used to live near the cinema but he traded for a bmw 1 series.

I ADORE the Fiesta ST, so much so that I swapped my 197 for an ST for a month last year, did an evaluation on it too....was posted up on STOC and here.

Yeah the Fiesta ST is a brilliant car! Will most likely have one of the new shapes a few years down line when there affordable private.

Will miss my ST, she's called 'The Slut' as she likes a good ragging
