Just had 3rd Service and MOT
£374.21 In total
All gone very well, passed the MOT first time so Im very pleased with that, especially after some of the issues with emissions that others have had in the past!
While it was in I had a list of warranty work to be put right at the same time, all common issues, every one has been completed without issue and the car is now looking and feeling better than new! Its in desperate need of a clean though after being outside, but I did ask that it wasn't done whilst at the dealer - I enjoy doing it myself
The main bit of warranty was having my alloys redone as they had began to bubble (rust) which took approx a week but the results are amazing so it has been well worth the wait! Even if it has been painful :'( lol!
The day before it went in some :swear: went and dinged my rear 3/4 while I was stood next to the car (needless to say I didn't hold back the abuse!) and it was going to cost £600 excess to take it through insurance until they admitted liability. I spoke to the dealers to see if they could sort it while it was in and sure enough they have come through once again and repaired it to a high standard at a fraction of the cost :w00t: At the same time I have had the particle and pollen filter changed and the air-con re-gassed, so everything is back to being perfect - just the way I like it.
All in all for the amount of work and attention that has gone into it over the past week I find the price very reasonable, looking through the receipt it would have been cheaper if I had supplied the spark plugs myself (if anyone else's is coming up) but its not an issue, merely advice for others.
I can't help but feel there is a lot of bad press for dealers so I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the guys at Harratts RW for doing a great job on my motor! I would also like to single out Nathan there for his great customer service (and putting up with the GF's indecision r.e. the Gordini lol!)
