Great way to start the week

I had two options this morning on my way into work.
1. mount the pavement
2. clip the front wing with an oncoming lorry

I opted to go with the first, in doing so I now have a lovely scuff pretty much the entire way round my front passenger side alloy :worried:

F#*king furious to say the least!! Just how I wanted to kick the week off

Sorry to hear that.
If you had to mount the pavement, how was the driver's side wheel kerbed, surely it would have been the left-hand side?

I dread the day my wheels get scuffed - the gf will be using it as her 'company car' once she goes self-employed in 2 days time. We all know much I worry, this sends me into sweaty palm mode!
To be honest, you've taken the best option and although it will be ~£50 to fix, it could have been a lot worse. I'd still be mega pissed off though.
But as Kev says, a dash cam is a sensible purchase if anything else were to happen. I actually caught a full on assault on mine at the weekend and has been taken as evidence by the Police.

Sorry to hear this, Sean. A pretty poor couple of choices you had, although a kerbed alloy is the 'better' outcome  lorry being driven like a knob??

Gutted.

Sometimes driving with every care in the World still isn't enough.....

Scuffed wheel still isn't 'too bad' though all things considered.

Good luck with the fixing !
