Hi everyone.
My first french car and what can I say. It’s definitely a love hate relationship.
I bought the car in October. All was good fir the first few weeks when all of a sudden a slight nock. Then a slight whining noise both got worse. Turned out the vvt polly was gone even tho cam belt had been done not 10k ago . So first big job.
Now The nocking. Ball joints track rod ends and steering rack. Its all booked in to get this work done next week. Also with new thermostat new abs sensor map sensor heat sensor and breaks.
To make it my own I got myself a toyo manifold and a custom exhaust from long life. All engine mounts polly bushed ( feels like a real car vibrating it’s tits off so much so I can’t see out the rear view but I love it [emoji23])
It’s in fir re map at end of the month and I have got a ported throttle body on order and hope to get the ported inlet manifold in the next few weeks.
My idea is to have a little track toy for when all this blows over. Any way just want to say thank you to everyone who has posted on hear and give such helpful advice. Hope we can all meet up some time soon.
