Garage bent bonnet hinge

The car had new pads and a brake fluid change yesterday. The wife finished work and in the light I noticed the bumper sitting high it the firewall end. On closer inspection, the 'mechanic' has shut the bonnet on what looks like a battery cover next to the hinge on near side. I haven't opened the bonnet yet and will take the car back to the garage tomorrow. If something is bent or imperfect, what should be my next step? Plenty of photos and hand the car to Renault? The garage for info is kwik-fit.

I think you guys are right, but not sure how to go about getting repair/refund. Call kwik-fit main dealer and forward on pictures?

Just return to the garage you used, speak to the manager and ask that they rectify the damage they caused. However given they are obviously incompetent as a garage it needs to go to a specialist body shop for any repair work.

I would also check that you actually have new pads and that the milage hasn't increased by 500 miles

It was a battery cover which was stuck. The bonnet actually just popped back into place itself. Wonder if it is worth sending pics to customer services.
