Fuel regulator 197

Where is the fuel regulator situated on the clio 197. I took the top off the engine so i could see the injectors thinking it was on the end of the fuel rail. Nothing..........?

It’s in the sender unit in the tank

Depends if you wanna do it the proper way or start chopping the metal out under your rear seats

Do you mean it's on the fuel pump...? Sender unit... Now quite sure what the sender unit is.

It’s the silver part (yours will be plastic)

You can either drop the tank or cut a larger hole and plate it

This Is the part I was given. Mines a 2008 rs197. This go in the fuel pump then.
I have another fuel pump spare I could fit it in. Yes mines plastic. How do you get the plastic but off....?

How the heck do you get the plastic bit off where the regulator is.? Does it screw off or gotta prize it off. Is the silver pressure regulator right for mine....? Or have the donuts sent me the wrong one. There discontinued from renault

The silver one is incorrect as it has the reference port on it. That looks like an FPR that would sit in a fuel rail.

You can’t get the FPR out of the plastic items without bastardising it unfortunately.

Why do you think you need a new one? You could just swap out the bottom portion with the FPR in from your spare one.
