Front suspension removal

Hello,

Currently trying to swap out my standard springs for coilovers, removed everything and got down to the hubs and the pinch bolt in the back of both sides will not budge (been in there 9 years at a guess) going to try some heat tomorrow again as we ran out of gas today before we could get it really hot, but am I missing something or is it just corroded in there badly?

Must be corrosion mate. There is nothing else down there to look for. Just those 2 bolts holding the dampers in the hubs.

If you're really stuck you can carefully pry the little tab open on the damper. It's like a hook that locks over that bolt.
then try and open the pinch enough to wiggle the whole damper out.

Had to hammer mine quite a bit to get them out and damaged the ends so had to get new bolts. They took a bit of shifting.
