I do need some new front pads, more that I definitely will once the cars back from mapping. :lol:

Anyone recommend some decent pads. Need to last as I do about 10 track days a year.

DS2500 lasted ages for me and were a nice upgrade. Had DS1.11 fitted Saturday when I see you and they are another level completely. No idea on longevity yet. @tombate911 might have an idea

I've done 5 track days on mine and still got 8mm worth of pad material left on it So that's 12mm with the backing material. Probably 2/3 days left in them but it'll do one more day and swap before spa.
 
Update on the car..

Been at ED, first power run saw 218bhp the standard exhaust is causing major restrictions on power and torque.

Also an issue with the standard bov

Cars had some 630cc injectors will now have a new bov and hopefully a scorpion cat back then back on the rollers for mapping.

Morale of the story, when you think your done you never are! Haha

Car still needs front pads, brake hoses and fluid change, and at some point the suspension replaced.

Gotta love tuning cars, it can never end!

Anyone give me an idea on what the cars worth?

08 cup with meg engine, LSD box new R26r clutch and fdlywheel scorpion exhaust
Cars done 53k and donor engine done 80k
630cc injectors, updated intercooler, had all new belts, fluids, new coils Recaros couple of sets of wheels
Cars done about 100 road miles since the conversion only

Well latest development.. dropped the car in to Andy at Engine dynamics for a forged engine, 250 turbo, cylinder head overhaul with new valve springs and mapping etc.
Hopefully have some good news after all this time when it’s done and get it back on track.
