Fitting sunglasses holder

Hmm

Well, I removed the existing blanking caps, and attempted to fit the sunglasses holder

It appears the two centre blocks pull out, allowing the pointy parts to push into the panel, then when in place, push the middle bits back in.

I can get the pointy bits in, but then it just gets stuck and the centre wont budge!


2 things are now possible:

A) I'm an idiot
B) The clips are sufficiently different to not fit


Anyone done it?

Yes the unit wont push in any further (it is flush with the lining)

the centre bit wont budge at all.. The unit wont push in any further. :jumpon:

Sorry to hear the bad news Mike. I think you should deffinately sell it on to someone else seeing how its obviously the wrong part.

Well, I just had another go

The centre locking caps need to be pulled all the way out for the pointy locks to go far enough in to lock.

Once this was done, piece of cake!

I fitted mine ok once i'd worked out you had to take the clips compleatly out first.

I saw the technical guru part under your name and thought, i won't teach him how to suck eggs :rofl:
