fitting harnesses?

Personally I wouldn't fit harnesses unless I was also fitting a cage.

But, I'm afraid I can't help you with the beeping, anything that involves wiring baffles me.

i will be geting a cage bud, same here but i no if u unplug it then u get a light on the dash and thats gunna annoy me!

Good call!!! Where are you in the country? Steve at http://scautoelectrics.co.uk/ may be able to help you if you're nearby or can get to him, or failing that he'll probably be able to give you some advice/pointers if he's too far away from you.

The easiest way would be getting hold of a seat belt buckle and plugging it in. Saves messing around with the contacts inside.

Never run a harness with a recliner. In a heavy crash it can break the seat mechanism. And as you can imagine, the harness won't do much if your laying flat!

A complete no go without a cage level mounting to through holes is the only way

I happily bolt harnesses to existing seatbelt mounting areas. I agree the angle of the belt behind the seat isnt 'ideal' as a 90 horizontal route would be safer but with a little angle ( 45 degrees ) i've never had trouble. I know a few people who have had quite serious offs and collisions with the same setup and never done damage.
