Fancied a 182 for a while and a guy I know at work is selling a really nice 2 owner car with low miles. Looks to be in immaculate condition. Silly not to add to my collection at the price they currently go for. It hasn't got the stripes at the moment but they may find their way on along with some white turinis
He's looking for a nice low mileage 200 ideally in storm grey or white so if you know of any...

Gentleman's agreement at the moment I guess so as long as he finds a suitable replacement I'll have it. There can't be many 2 owner cars left in that sort of condition unless you look at a trophy of which there are a few for sale at the moment for £17k upwards. Not prepared to pay the difference for some trick suspension. What did you go and view?

I got word of a 182 from a mate in the trade Monday. Came in as a trade-in at a large Vauxhall main dealer. Not their thing hence. £600 in great nick and "only needs front discs".
So off i go.
Was actually a 172. And it did need front discs. And rears. And pads all round. And a service. And there was no history of belts being done. And the price then went up to £700.
Waste of time.....

My old Racing Blue 182. I think you'll approve of the colour scheme.
Cracking cars, the Mk2. In many ways they're better than the Mk3. I still wish I'd have kept this alongside the 200. I sold it after owning it from new to a guy who traveled all over Europe in it, then sold it to a guy who broke it for parts. All that money I put into it.
